This year marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Francisco Franco. What has become of the memory of dictatorship and civil war? With the desire of intimately mitigating the trauma provoked by an official discourse that speaks of winners and losers as collectives without personal depth, the artist explores the varying generational conducts with respect to institutionalised amnesia, as embodied in his close relatives.

The hypnotic Aïsha, from Swiss clubs to Via Foce. Born in Switzerland with Nepali Indigenous heritage, she is an electronic music producer and vocalist. Guttural singing and mystical lyrics, half-tone harmonies and binaural frequencies.

Forgotten archives from the former Yugoslavia reveal the lost legacy of the Non-Aligned Movement – an initiative founded in Belgrade in 1961 at a conference of 25 nations and 17 liberation movements – which fought for decolonisation, disarmament and anti-racism, yet remains absent from Western history.

A project that has dedicated time to listening to the passions, thoughts, disappointments, anger and joys of young people. Then another period of time to working together.

One’s own room Inside Kabul is an invitation to step into the living room of a young Afghan woman. There, after taking off their shoes and sitting down among the cushions and traditional dishes, the audience meets Raha, isolated from the outside world after the Taliban’s rise to power, Raha shares her thoughts, her desires and her fears. This visual and sound-based experience evokes the fragility of everyday life for women in Afghanistan and serves as a reminder of how quickly fundamental rights can collapse.

October 1943: Heinrich Himmler gathers all the Gauleiters of the Reich to inform them of the regime's decision to completely exterminate the Jewish population of Europe. In this play Boris Nikitin delves into the past of his grandmother, Magda Toffler, whose real origins and a life spent in hiding were only discovered after her death. A biographical text, therefore, which drills deep into the hidden layers of the European 20th century, intertwining personal and collective history, reflection and emotion.
