The national PREMIO network received almost 60 applications for the first call for proposals of the new course.

On October 31, 2022, the PREMIO members met at the Heitere Fahne in Bern to discuss and select 8 projects and award them the Encouragement Prize for the performing arts: PREMIO

The award includes a presentation on January 21, 2023 in front of about 50 institutions (the FIT is a member of the network) of the independent scene, networking with these institutions, definition of a residency, a support group for each project, translations , support for guest performances, PREMIO-Visits and of course 5,000 francs for the co-production.
