there was an awards ceremony

𝙎𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙍𝘽𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙕𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙆𝙐𝙇𝙏𝙐𝙍

that giving to a  jury of curator honoured the FIT Festival.

An AWARD  that made us immensely happy and we said: Katia Gandolfi, Belma Dizdarevic De marchi e Paola Tripoli (in addition to our collaborators Arianna, Simon, Monica, Alan)

REWARDS  our courage and “our resilience”.

And even more so because it testifies to the fact that nationally our work is appreciated and known.

Thanks to Margrit Bürer, President of the Foundation, the Board, the members of the jury Martin Handschin, Laura Hilti and Isabelle Vuong  to whom our thanks also go for the Laudatio.

This award recognizes the FIT’s long-standing commitment to contemporary creation, engaging artistic and socio-political themes and care in accompanying contemporary works.
With this award we wish to express our gratitude for the radical and radically contemporary commitment of the FIT Festival and its team over the years, and express the hope that the festival will continue to be ahead of its time in the decades to come.

It rewards Paola Tripoli’s decades-long commitment to providing a continuous platform for dance, theater and contemporary performance with the Lugano festival.
