Simon Senn was born in 1986 and lives in Geneva. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Art and Design in Geneva and a Master’s degree from Goldsmiths College in London. At first glance, his work seems to suggest a socially engaged artist, speaking out against some kind of injustice. Yet his works sometimes reveal a more ambiguous approach, exploring aporias rather than articulating direct criticism. Although his videos or installations are normally based on a certain reality, fiction often interferes with it.
Be Arielle F is his first work for the stage. During the health crisis of 2020, a live streaming and adapted version of the show was created.
In 2021 his new work was presented (and landed at the FIT), created together with Tammara Leites, dSimon.
