LOVELY UNEXPECTED TWISTS

KEEP FIT WITH RADIO! 2018. On air every day from 30 September until 06 October 2018, from 12:00 to 13:00 on Radio Gwen.

Thursday 4th October 2018,
at the mobile radio station live from BEE.MAURI in Lugano…

Isa, Ludovica, Butti and Borghi have prepared for us an episode full of interviews, reviews and (as always) lovely unexpected twists.

In the studio with us was Tommaso Mandalà, a philosophy professor interviewed over lunch, who spoke to us, between one bite and another, about theatre, its origins and its function, especially for young people.

Immediately afterwards, we had the dumb luck of being able to intercept the very friendly and fantastic Flavio Albanese of Compagnia del Sole, as he entered the BEE Bar, naively thinking that he could eat in peace!

Flavio Albanese talked to us about stories, theatre and quantum physics. A few hours later, we saw him on stage at the FOCE theatre during the performance L’universo è un materasso (“The universe is a mattress” …if you want to know why he chose this title, listen to the episode!). And almost as if to answer the questions we asked ourselves in the previous days, he told us after the show that theatre is “everything that happens in the rainbow between the actors and the audience, each time different”.

KEEP FIT WITH RADIO! is a project born from a collaboration between Radio Gwendalyn and the Nettune Project (a radio project in Ticino’s high schools) and the youth section of the FIT, Festival Internazionale del Teatro e della Scena Contemporanea.

The journalists: the boys and girls of Neptune and the Young&Kids competition jury are present in all the nooks and crannies of the FIT to gather opinions, debates and ideas about contemporary theatre. But you’ll also discover them in all seriousness as theatre critics.

Curated by Fulvia Torricelli and Monica Muraca.
