An encounter between two cultures and two ways of making theater: the Italians of Teatro Sotterraneo and the young promise of Latvian theater, Valter Silis. If in 1914 the modern concept of propaganda on a global scale was born, in 2014 psychological warfare is an integral part of every military strategy: each bomb is accompanied by our ability to produce new vocabularies increasingly effective in conditioning public opinion to the acceptance of mutual slaughter. WAR NOW! sets up a game that tells the Third World War in the centenary of its beginning, through certain manipulative mechanisms, between infowar and disinformacjia, where fun anesthetizes the horror. WAR NOW! stages a paradoxical experience in which actors/storytellers and spectators/players find themselves inside a hypothetical third conflict, in an attempt to question the possibilities of war entertainment as the last frontier of persuasion.
