The young people of the jury continue their experience during the year by attending some of the 2025/26 LAC Theatre Season events!
In March, the boys and girls attended the performance of Medea’s Children. Their experience has resulted in this new podcast, which we invite you to listen to: RUOLO MADRE. L’ironia delle scelte senza via di fuga – LEAD ROLE. The irony of impossible choices.
In this all-female episode, RedAction explores our ability to understand, justify and even empathise with extreme acts. Through Euripides, Seneca and Pasolini, right up to Rau’s contemporary reinterpretation, Medea confronts us with our deepest fears and our harshest judgements, forcing us to grapple with the loneliness that pervades the present. Once again, theatre reveals itself as a place of reflection and revelation: a space where reality emerges in its most tragic, perhaps most true, form.
