\nPerma cultural seedlings<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

How can we make the performing arts more sustainable, ecologically, humanely, socially and artistically? To find the answers, the team of far\u00b0 festival et fabrique des arts vivants Nyon has been conducting experimental and collective research inspired by permaculture since 2022.<\/p>\n

It is a multicultural participatory laboratory where practices, theoretical knowledge and some practical solutions will be exchanged to understand how performing arts can be made more sustainable, ecologically, humanely, socially and artistically. The experimental and collective research started by Far Festival in 2022, together with permaculture-inspired Leila Chakroun (permaculture researcher) and Gregory Stauffer (choreographer), lands in Lugano at FIT 2024.<\/p>\n

Permaculture (a term derived from the contraction of \u201cagriculture\u201d and \u201cpermanent\u201d) is a set of conceptual tools based on an ethic of care: caring for the Earth, caring for people and equitable sharing of resources.<\/p>\n

\nWorkshop format: Sunday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/span><\/strong>, vegetarian lunch provided
\nLanguage: f<\/strong>r<\/span>ench, with simultaneous translation into Italian<\/strong><\/span>
\nLimited number of places: maximum 12 people<\/strong><\/span>
\nRegistration deadline: October 6, 2024<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Child care is provided for parents who are eager to participate, subject to registration \u00a0by Sept. 29.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Opportunity to attend a FIT film and performance at the end of the workshop.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong> <\/span>Working in the cultural sector (artistic, technical, production, management, etc.). No previous knowledge necessary<\/p>\n
