When we use the laughing face in a chat, are we laughing with it? And when we use the one crying copiously, what face are we really making? But the real question at the heart of the work is: how can we recover our true feelings?<\/p>\n
In K(-A-)O<\/em>, Japanese choreographer Kenji Shinohe explores, through the body and digital technologies, the way feelings are expressed through tiny icons and keyboard symbols. A performance that leaves words aside to tackle the highly topical issue of \u201csuperficial communication\u201d, created by new technologies and used in particular \u2013 but not only \u2013 by the younger generations.<\/p>\n
