\u00abVenir meno<\/em> \u2013 explains the artist \u2013 is intended to be a dreamlike encounter between two mythological figures. One comes from my personal history: my great-grandfather Battista, a partisan. In my imagination, he is a hero who liberated Italy from the fascists and who, for me, embodies that energy of struggle and resistance against the injustices of the world. The other comes from Greek mythology: Hypnos, the god of Sleep, who today could free us from work, competition, and the exhaustion that performance society forces upon us. What kind of forces do these two figures embody? What does the word Resistance mean to me and to us today? \u00bb.
