She has been working as a freelance dancer and choreographer for more than a decade, creating three solo shows:\u00a0<em>Gina\u00a0<\/em>(2010),\u00a0<em>Encore<\/em> (2013) and\u00a0<em>Bienvenue<\/em>\u00a0(2017) as well as several performances for art galleries and museums. Since 2018 she has been Artist in Residence at Th\u00e9\u00e2tre La Grange de Dorigny, the University of Lausanne\u2019s theatre, using this opportunity to explore new artistic territories. With a group of about thirty dancers and musicians from Jura, her native region, she choreographed\u00a0<em>Le d\u00e9fil\u00e9 droit direct du Jura<\/em>\u00a0(2019), a parade that was presented as part of the mega-event La F\u00eate des Vignerons in Vevey, Switzerland. One of her latest work is\u00a0<em>Nous trois<\/em> (2019) a piece for three performers that investigates the intensity and complexity of relationships amongst family members. Her first Young Audience project, <em>Ha ha ha<\/em> (2021, presented at FIT 2022) was created for dancer and performer Tarek Halaby. Her newest piece for six artists is called <em>Rendez-vous<\/em> (2022) and is an intimate cabaret. Eug\u00e9nie Rebetez lives in Zurich since 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Eug\u00e9nie Rebetez\u2019s work has been presented throughout Switzerland and in Europe at many renowned venues and festivals. Since 2015 she has been teaching students of the Bachelor in Contemporary Dance at La Manufacture in Lausanne.
