Both a stage and film actor, he is primarily a playwright and visual artist. His work on stage includes video and artistic installations. The latter sometimes consist of photography, text and sculpture. He is a contributing editor for TDR\/The Drama Review and co-founder of the Beirut Art Center (BAC).<\/p>\n<p>His 2007 play about the Lebanese civil war, <em>How Nancy Wished That Everything Was an April Fool&#8217;s Joke<\/em>, was banned by the Lebanese Ministry of the Interior and premiered in Tokyo. The ban was eventually lifted.
