Collettivo Treppenwitz<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>is an artistic collective founded in 2018 by six independent artists \u2013<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Camilla Parini, Simon Waldvogel, Anah\u00ec Traversi, Carla Valente, Igor Horvat, and Federica Carra<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u2013 coming from diverse backgrounds such as theatre, dance, performance, music, photography, and stage writing. After several collaborations over the years, Francesca Sproccati joined the team in 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The collective is known for its multidisciplinary and contemporary approach, with artistic research focused on relationships, attentive listening, and the urgency to narrate the present through innovative and hybrid languages.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Over the years, it has received<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>important recognition<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>and has taken part in<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>national and international collaborations and tours<\/span>, establishing itself as one of the most vibrant emerging groups in the Swiss and European performance scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The name<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Treppenwitz<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u2013 a German word meaning \u201cstaircase wit\u201d, the clever remark that comes too late \u2013 reflects the collective\u2019s poetic sensibility, transforming delays, missed intuitions, and fragility into creative strength and expressive drive.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

CAMILLA PARINI<\/em><\/h4>\n

Camilla Parini is a performer and creator born and raised in a small village in Italian-speaking Switzerland, where she still lives. Naturally introverted and disorderly, she has always had a conflicted relationship with words, favoring visual and physical languages instead.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

After an initial experience working in the social sector, she moved to Milan to study physical theatre and dance at the Paolo Grassi School of Performing Arts. Since then, she has developed a personal artistic path that spans theatre, performance, photography, and installation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Since 2014, she has explored themes of identity and vulnerability through works such as<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>STILL LEBEN<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>(2014),<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Princesses karaoke or something like that\u2026<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>(2016),<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Io sono un\u2019altra<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>(2018),<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>KISS! (Loving Kills)<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>(2021), and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Je suisse (or not)<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>(2023).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In 2018, she co-founded the<\/span> performing arts ensemble <\/span><\/span>Collettivo Treppenwitz<\/span>, and in 2021 she helped launch the movement<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Ticino is Burning<\/span><\/a>, aimed at fostering broader artistic connections and open dialogue within the contemporary cultural scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
