Active in both theatre, film and television, he works regularly with the Royal Scottish Academy of Music &amp; Drama. He has directed almost all of the company&#8217;s productions and his work has been presented in over 25 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>In 2010, Matthew Lenton became the first British director of the Ecole des Ma\u00eetres, a prestigious theatre master class led by leading figures from the European arts scene. In demand by many international theatres, with whom he has co-produced the company&#8217;s work, at home he is a promoter of Scottish independence because he believes in the cultural diversity of this part of the country and freedom from tradition.<\/p>\n<p>Vanishing Point&#8217;s distinctive feature is to subvert reality and make the ordinary extraordinary.
