Actor and author Roberto Corradino was born in Bari, in southern Italy. Through his practice, he explores the role of the actor by confronting tradition in a dimension close to the “happening” form, in a disturbing proximity to the spectator. His goal, approaching contemporary dramaturgy, is trying to re-imagine theatre shows as collective rituals, combining tradition and new languages to create a form of simple, popular theatre. On stage he has worked with Mimmo Cuticchio, Martinelli\/Montanari Teatro delle Albe, Maria Maglietta, Pippo Delbono, Sandro Lombardi and Federico Tiezzi, Eimuntas Nekrosius.<\/p>\n
In October 2000 he created the company and production house Reggimento Carri | teatro<\/strong>, collaborating with Italian and international festivals and structures, such as Es.terni, FIT Festival, Kismet OperA, Festival Castel dei Mondi, Teatri di Vetro.
