\u00abWe work on stage, we make books, radio, videos and learning processes. Since 2003, we started developing projects as a mechanism to link work and life, to erase and trace frontiers. Our work seeks to create narratives upon events from the reality. It has nothing to do with entertainment, it\u2019s a space to think, articulate, dislocate and unravel what the everyday life fuses, overlooks and presents us as given. Things are what they are, but they can also be another way.<\/strong>\u00bb<\/p>\n <\/em>The collective’s projects are developed from three lines of research: autobiography, the political history of Mexico and the present time, always maintaining a tension between fiction and reality. Central to the poetics of the Mexican collective is the idea that staging something implies a desire for revolt and that therefore there is no scene without a certain discontent with reality.<\/p>\n Their performances have toured the world. They have been presented in almost every state in the Mexican Republic, in independent venues, festivals, state theaters and universities. Abroad, they have been guests at Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels, Schaub\u00fchne in Berlin, FIBA in Buenos Aires, Wiener Festwochen in Vienna, Festival d’Automne in Paris, Theater Spektakel festival in Zurich, ALS in Montreal, and Kammerspiele in Munich, among others.<\/p>\n At FIT, Gabino Rodr\u00edguez, founder of the collective together with Luisa Pardo, presented Montserrat<\/em> in 2018 (watch the after-show talk<\/span><\/a>).<\/p>\n
